Hightech Signs began life in 1990 as Custom Signs Today, a franchised quick sign shop located in a small retail space in a suburban Cincinnati strip shopping center. Within the first four years of our existence, we opened and closed a second retail location, were sold to a competing franchise sign company (Hightech Signs) and were granted our independence when our new franchisor decided to pursue interests outside of the sign industry.

With this independence came the freedom to focus our efforts on the commercial side of the signage industry and allowed us to move our operation to a much larger space in an industrial development. It became apparent early on that to provide the level of service and value commercial customers demanded, we needed to control the design, fabrication and installation of the systems we sold.

Manufacturing capability was added over the years and in 2002 we built a 10,000 square foot building which currently houses the latest in sign making technology. Concurrently, we developed strong relationships with the Tristate healthcare community and have grown to become the region’s largest supplier of interior architectural signage to this industry. In addition, commercial office buildings, corporate headquarters, churches, government buildings and many others make up Hightech Signs’ portfolio of satisfied customers.
